2018 International Symposium on Hydrogen, Fire, Explosion and Safety Standard (ISHFESS2018) was hosted by Hefei University of Technology and Zhejiang University at Hefei, Anhui province on July 6-8, 2018. ISHFESS2018 was supported by Wang Kuancheng education foundation, the International organization for Hydrogen, International journal of Hydrogen energy and China Hydrogen Energy Standardization Committee. More than 80 experts and scholars from 9 countries attended the symposim, i.e., Professor Jennifer Wen from the University of Warwick, UK; Professor Marco Carcassi and Dr Martino Schiavetti from the University of Pisa, Italy; Dr Laurence Bernard from Gexcon, Norway; Dr Regis Bauwens from FM Global, USA; Dr Vendra Chandra Madhav Rao from India; Professor Zheng Jinyang from Zhejiang University, and etc.
